5 Reasons to Attend a DVRT Workshop

Last year I wrote a post about why one should incorporate DVRT (Dynamic Variable Resistance Training) into their training regimen.  I was compelled to write it after attending their Level 1 & Level 2 certifications in NYC where not only did I learn a great deal but I also discovered an amazing and supportive community.

Since then I have been promoted to a Master Instructor, have had the opportunity to assist with other certifications and am now going to be hosting a DVRT One Day Workshop as the kick off to the opening of Strength In Motion Fitness Studio!

The thing about the DVRT education programs is that when given the choice, most people automatically sign up for the certifications and while the certs are AMAZING (life changing, really), there is also real value in the workshops that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Take your fitness education to the next level.

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast, personal trainer or sports coach, you will benefit from attending a DVRT Workshop.  If you’ve never picked up an Ultimate Sandbag before, you will learn how to properly set it up and implement it into your training.  If you’re a trainer or coach the workshop will boost your effectiveness and give you the cutting edge you need to set your business apart putting you amongst elite military units and top coaches and fitness facilities who’re already implementing this system.

Enhance training and performance.

If you’re an athlete of any kind, it is important to know how to maximize your movement.  The DVRT Workshop teaches you just that by introducing you to the foundations of the Dynamic Variable Resistance Training which will help you to enhance your training and performance.

What’s great about the DVRT System and Ultimate Sandbag as a training tool is that it allows you to improve your conditioning while building strength.  Life isn’t just about moving in one plane of motion and your training shouldn’t be either.  The DVRT Workshop will introduce you to 360 degree movement so you can make the most out of your training.

Learn how to progress beyond weight.

The one MAJOR reason that I started working out with the Ultimate Sandbag was because it allowed me to wherever I wanted to.  As a busy mom/person the only way to fit in fitness was to workout at home but after a while, I realized I needed some direction on how to advance my training using just my power and strength bags.

By attending the workshop, you will learn how to progress your training beyond load and weight and will be taught the importance of stability as part of the DVRT system.

Increase your client’s results.

As a coach and trainer what is more rewarding that being able to increase your client’s results? Not only does it make them feel good but it validates you as a trainer as well.  The DVRT Workshop will give you the tools you need to stay on the cutting edge and teach you how to progress and regress drills so that you can work with your client to meet any fitness goal no matter what their level is.

Earn CEU’s.

I put this last for a reason and it’s because after all is said and done at the end of the day you’ll be so happy you attended that earning continuing education credits will be just a bonus.  The DVRT education programs offer you SO much more than most other fitness courses that you can attend.

I don’t know how many people that I talk to that have told me how life changing attending a certification or workshop has been for them and was SO worth their time and how much they got out of it.

But anyway, along with a life changing experience you can also earn credit hours with the following organizations: ACE, NASM, NSCA, and AFFA.  :)

Unfortunately, there aren’t always live workshops and certifications offered where you might live but thankfully, they are now offering their DVRT Certification ONLINE.  So, if anything I said piqued your interest to attend but you cannot find one in your area then definitely check that out!

If you live in the Upstate, NY area then be sure to checkout my upcoming DVRT Workshop on May 15th at Strength In Motion Studio in Oswego!
