Hi. Hola. Bonjour! That’s about the extent to my foreign language skills but I do have to say that I am feeling pretty festive and amped up since the Olympics started! 

I don’t know about you but the Olympics always inspire me.  I am inspired by the hard work, determination and just straight up awesomeness of every single athlete.  It makes me want to get up earlier, push myself more and give it my all during my workouts.  

To be honest, it makes me want to use my treadmill more so I can actually watch them compete while I workout- it can only inspire me to run faster, right? 

In any case, I will never be an Olympian but that doesn’t mean that I cant train like one.  In fact, today’s post is more than just a meatless recipe, it’s 5 ways you can train like an Olympian or at least make you feel like you’re going for the gold!

RECIPE

Ingredients: 

Red Layer:

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any milk)
