Best iPhone 6 Cases for Runners + Gym Goers

The Best iPhone 6 Cases for Runners + Gym Goers

I’ve been on the hunt again.  Last week it was running sunglasses and this week it’s a new case for my iPhone 6.  I’m the kind of consumer that literally will research what I’m shopping for to death and it’s no different when it come to a home for my phone.

I’m pretty sure the last time I purchased one it took me like 2 months to finally decide, mostly because I have a lot of criteria that need to be filled.  I want it to be tough and durable but pretty all while fitting in my FlipBelt.  Huge bonus if it has a kickstand…that makes it easier to take “runfies” and selfies while I’m working out instead of having to find something to prop it against.

So, while I still haven’t decided, I figured I would share what I have found.  All of these cases provide a little something extra though, I still haven’t found one that has EVERYTHING I want.  That’s never the case though (no pun intended).

iPhone 6 Battery Case, Trianium Atomic S

If you’re anything like me, your battery on your phone is constantly dying which is problematic especially when you’re out for a run.  This case solves that problem by providing 100% battery life for 14+ hours of talk time or 10+ hours of web browsing.  It is also super durable with a bumper design and hard shell back plate yet slim enough to fit comfortably in your hand and pocket. Which is a must if you’re bringing it on the run.  Sells for $49.99 on Amazon.

It’s not so much the holster (which can be easily removed) that I like about this phone case but rather the vertical kickstand which is hard to find for the iPhone 6.  I personally like a kickstand on my phone because it makes it easier to take pictures while exercising (as opposed to finding something to prop the phone against) as well as watch exercise demos/videos and read recipes.  The other desirable feature about this case is the fact that it has a rubberized texture which protects it and prevents slipping.  This one is sold on Amazon for $12.99.

Spigen Slim Armor CS Case

This compact and secure wallet style case is perfect for on the run when you’re away from home or want to run to the store, literally.  It’s also great for gym goers that need to keep certain cards on hand. The quick access slot holds up to two cards in staggered placement plus the case has air cushioned corners and spider web pattern shock absorptions to protect your phone when you’ve got a case of the dropsies.  Sells for $24.99 on Amazon.

HB Tune

Not exactly a case but worth the mention if you’re the kind of runner that’s always pulling their phone out the their pocket while on the run.  That would be me, by the way.  I actually have an HB Tune and it’s pretty awesome and fits my phone WITH a case on it. Totally worth checking out if you’re looking for a different way to carry your phone on the run. Sells for $24.99.

If you’re looking for polished meets practical then this is the case for you.  Personally, I always like my phone case to have a little class while still remaining functional which is why I was drawn to this one.  It not only has a vertical kickstand (YAY) but the polycarbonate case protects the outside from scratches while the microfiber lining provides a soft cushioning.  This case also has a beveled edge to protect your phone when you place it face down.  Sells for $49.95 on!

So there you go, six cases that are all functional in their own way and perfect for those with an active lifestyle like myself.

Which one would you choose?
