Deceptively Healthy Gluten Free Comfort Food Recipes

So unbeknownst to me up until just a few days ago, today is National No Diet Day.  It’s a day that was created to celebrate body acceptance and just throw the entire notion of dieting and restricting  out the window.  It’s a day that is meant to highlight the potential dangers of restrictive dieting and embrace body shape diversity.  

While I think it’s important to recognize that some of us have to restrict our diets for food tolerance and allergies reasons it’s also important to realize that such “restrictions” don’t have to mean missing out on traditional comfort food. 

I have actually never been one to diet.  Even though I eat 100% gluten free, my take on life is all about moderation.  If I wanna brownie, I eat it.  Sure, it may be a sweet potato protein brownie but it sure as heck still tastes amazing and I often find that I have to STEP AWAY from the pan.  

Anyway, what I am getting at is that living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be limiting.  It can be delicious while still being good for you.  These gluten free comfort food recipes are my case in point:
