Easy Gluten Free Thanksgiving Appetizers


Thanksgiving is fast approaching this week and if you’re hosting, I’m guessing you probably have your menu already planned and your turkey picked out and your shopping list written.  With all the fuss over turkey, potatoes and stuffing, you may have forgotten about T-Day appetizers.  

Or maybe you’re attending Thanksgiving dinner as a guest and need something to bring.  Well, look no further than these easy-to-make, gluten free party pleasin’ appetizers!

Easy gluten free Thanksgiving Day appetizers

As most of you know, I am all about flavor without the fuss.  I like to keep things simple with limited ingredients and quick enough to whip up even if you’re time crunched.  

This is how I feel all the time about my recipes but I feel it’s especially important to share with the stress of the holidays and the expectations to deliver something extra delicious when you’re trying to juggle #allthethings and adult at the same time. 

So, here I present to you, three simple, satisfying and share worthy recipes!

Toasted Goat Cheese & Pecan Sweet Potato Bites

All you need is a sweet potato, goat cheese, pecans and a little bit of maple syrup to drizzle and you’re good to go.  I swear they taste like mini bites of pie.  Don’t believe me? Give them a try. 

Caramelized Mushroom Polenta Bites

Caramelized Mushroom Polenta Bites. Crispy baked polenta rounds topped with caramelized onions and mushrooms sauteed with cabernet, white stilton cranberry cheese and garnished with thyme. Gluten free, vegetarian with vegan option. Perfect for holiday and New Year's Eve parties.

Prefer savory over sweet? Then these Caramelized Mushroom Polenta Bites are a must make.  They’re hearty enough to hold you over until dinner without spoiling every body’s appetite. 

Pomegranate & Crushed Pistachio Crostini

Pomegranate & Crushed Pistachio Crostini Appetizer Recipe {gluten free}

You can also keep it simple with a combo of savory and sweet with these Pomegranate and Crush Pistachio Crostini.  A quick spread of brie cheese, sprinkle of pistachios and festive pomegranates and you’re set to impress any of your guests.
