Fashionable and Affordable Firmoo Eyewear Review + Discount
Twenty-one years. That is how long I have worn glasses and that is how long I have battled with picking out the right pair year after year. Seriously, it is always a battle; I hate every pair I try on until I get frustrated, convinced that my face is too small for anything fashionable or cute.
When I eventually do pick out a pair, it is usually with the help of the tech who I literally torture with questions like “Are you sure these don’t look too big?” or “These aren’t grandma status, right?”. This happens year after year without fail until I finally narrow it down to the first pair I tried on only to pay HUNDREDS of dollars just to wear them to bed.
This year though I put my foot down after trying on oh, I don’t know, about 20 pairs and realizing that it was a waste of time and money. I had resolved myself to the fact that I could figure it out at a later date when I had more time (which is never) and actually found something worth spending nearly $300 on.
Apparently the optical gods heard my cries of frustration and decided to send Firmoo my way. Firmoo, a global online optical store contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I would like to try out and review a new pair of eyeglasses. Of course I jumped at the chance then immediately thought “how the heck am I going to pick out glasses online if I can’t even do it in person?!”
Thankfully, it was a lot easier than the process I’d been used to at the doctor’s office, I just needed my prescription which was easy enough to get emailed to me by my eye doctor!
My next step was choosing the frames that I liked which was not as hard as I thought it would be. There is even a tool on the site called the Virtual Look Viewer where you can upload a photo of yourself and try on frames virtually!
After a virtual fashion show (which took much less time than I expected), I choose to go with these frames that I thought fit my face nice in the pictures and were colors that I knew would look good. No matter how hard I try, black frames are not my friend.
The best part about these frames? They would have been just $39 before shipping though I did receive these free in exchange for a review! Free or not, $39 is nearly $200 cheaper than I paid for my last pair plus it included 1.50 single vision lenses! SCORE! I have TERRIBLE astigmatism so I assumed they would be much more.
After inputting my prescription info, I placed my order and waited patiently for them to arrive….which they did about a week or so later! SWEET! Also a lot quick than my normal eye doctor.
I was pleased to see that they came with this decorative hard case, most of my other eyeglass cases were black and boring.
They also came with a nice soft case as well!
The important question though was how do they look on?!
They look great, I think!
In all seriousness, I really, really like these glasses! Not only are they reasonably priced and comfortable and they are fashionable enough to wear out and about on the days that I’m just too lazy for my contacts.
The customer service is great too, I had a question right before I ordered and they got back to me right away and the glasses were at my door within a week!
Given the ease of ordering and the more than reasonable price, I will for sure be ordering my next pair from them in the future! Good news is if you’re a glasses wearer and are in need of some specks, you can get your first pair 50% off!
Are you lucky enough to have four eyes? Have you ever ordered eyewear online?
