Fuel Your Busy Day With Hemp Heart Bars!

Every day I wake up between 4:30-5:00 AM, roll out of bed and spend about 15 mins or so attempting really wake up so I can workout.  

Depending on my workout, I spend until 6 or 6:30 getting my sweat on, shower and then start my day.  My day consists of getting my oldest daughter off to school then jumping into the blogging grind while managing I mean, mothering my 2 year old terror….err, princess.  

On even busier days I am working on getting my studio open and running to and fro appointments.  These days when I’m on the go, I need something that is going to stop me from getting hangry- I tend to get hangry often.  

Problem is, due to my dietary restrictions, I can’t just grab whatever I might come across.  I need something I know my tummy is going to agree with on top of being nutritious.

Actually, a while back I mentioned another snack that Manitoba Harvest makes called Hemp Heart Bites that are also portable and perfect for on-the-go so I was elated to see that they came out with a bar version of their portable snacks! 

Like the Hemp Heart Bites, these bars packed with 10 grams of protein per serving as well as 10 grams of omegas to keep you full and fueled.  Unlike the Hemp Heart Bites, these bars come in not one but three flavors: vanilla, chocolate and apple cinnamon. 

On a recent trip to NYC this past weekend, the Hemp Heart Bars came in handy while on the road.

I was literally ready to eat my arm off- thankfully I was able to eat this vanilla flavored hemp goodness instead, my arm most certainly wouldn’t have tasted as good. 

I’ve also enjoyed the chocolate flavor with coffee which tastes AMAZING and the Apple Cinnamon is a delicious way to fuel pre-workout or run!

I just saw these for the first time and was on the run, so I couldn't pick one up and look at the ingredients and nutrition facts. Now I want to go back and get it!

I make sure i always have granola or a protein bar of some sort on hand for my busy days. Being busy means the kids get fed and I am finding time to eat. You know how it goes ;)

Food prep is key and keeping good options like these in the car for emergencies. I totally want to try these.

I also like to make extra food at dinner so I have food to grab the next day.

I sort of envy/hate those who get up so early and like it!! LOL I tested out the bars too and what a great alternative to have with low sugar. I love trying new snacks

These look delicious! I have yet to try these, but I love having bars on hand for when I'm working and need a little boost. YUM!
