Healthy Gluten Free Recipes for the Big Game

Before we dive into today’s post, I have something to confess.  Our theme is supposed to be “kitchen cleanse” today- meaning using food or ingredients that we have leftover in the fridge or pantry to create a recipe.  My confession: my post has NOTHING to do with “kitchen cleansing”.  In fact, none of these recipes are even new but I have good reason for being a rule breaker! 

You see, next Sunday is Super Bowl 50 and I figured a quick roundup of my favorite healthy gluten free recipes are in order.  I am aware that not all of you watch football or celebrate the Super Bowl like it’s a holiday (I do) but for those of you who, here are some healthy recipes that are touch down worthy!

Let’s start with the finger foods (aka snacks) which is what all football fans are really about.

These crunchy little buffalo wing inspired snacks were literally one of my first football recipes on the blog, so forgive the photography.  That being said,  don’t let the blurriness of the photo deter you from giving them a try.  They’re delicious, they’re nutritious and they’re the perfect snack to mindlessly shovel in your mouth as you’re shouting at the TV.
