Honest Tea Review and Giveaway
When you think of iced tea, you typically think of enjoying it on a hot summer day trying to cool down while sitting on a front porch. Okay, maybe that is just me but honestly, when you think of iced tea you typically associate it with warmer weather, right?
Well, I did too until recently when I had the opportunity to try out Honest Tea’s Cinnamon Sunrise Herbal Iced Tea. It literally tastes just like what you’d imagine fall would taste like- notes of spice that really makes it drastically different than any other iced tea you’ve ever tried.
The story as to how Honest Tea came about is actually quite interesting. Just like the story of the three bears, the founders of Honest Tea were on a mission to create a beverage that was both not too sweet and most definitely not tasteless. After some playing around, he created a drink made with real tea leaves dubbing it Honest Tea for not only the origin of the tea leaves but also to describe the type of relationship the company would strive to create with it’s customers and suppliers.
Honest Company now makes a variety of beverages aside from tea including Honest Kids, Honest Fizz and Summer Refreshers as well as the traditional Honest Tea Glass Bottles which the delicious Cinnamon Sunrise comes in.
Like I said before, the Honest Tea Cinnamon Sunrise is unlike the traditional iced teas that you’ve ever had. It’s brewed with herbal rooibos tea leaves, cinnamon and ginger root. Although it’s unsweetened, it certainly isn’t lacking in flavor.
In fact, you can even see the punches of spice flavor floating around while you’re drinking it!
Oh and aside from being zero calories and caffeine free, it’s also gluten free, organic, non- GMO and Fair Trade Certified!
Honest Tea was gracious enough to send me an entire case to enjoy PLUS they also agreed to giveaway an entire case to one of my lucky readers!
