KIND Snacks Review & GIVEAWAY!

Recently I was given the opportunity to try out some of the latest KIND Snacks and I am really excited to share all the yumminess I tried with you. Even though I knew I was going to receive a package of KIND deliciousness in the mail, I wasn’t sure exactly what was being sent.  I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and found not only some bars for my sweet tooth but also some bars of the savory variety that feature 10 grams of protein! KIND Snacks Review & GIVEAWAY | The Fit Foodie Mama

Many of you may have already had the opportunity to try them out but these were new to me and I was so excited to taste them all that I didn’t even know where to start. I was sent five flavors: Hickory Smoked, Honey Smoked BBQ, Thai Sweet Chili, Roasted Jalapeno and Honey Mustard.

These Strong & KIND bars are made with soy free and whey free protein are NON GMO and gluten free which means that I can enjoy them without worrying about a belly ache! The protein in them is derived from peas and all the other ingredients are ones you can pronounce such as; almonds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, pea crisps (pea protein isolate, rice flour & rice starch)and spices.  None of that chemically created in a lab crap. KIND Snacks Review & GIVEAWAY

The first one I tried was the Thai Sweet Chili and I honestly thought it was my favorite.  Then I tried the Roasted Jalapeno and ate it so quick I I was left staring at a blank wrapper wanting more.  Each flavor I tried I liked just as much as the one before.  They were the perfect combo of bold and spicy! I tried the Honey Mustard last because I wasn’t too sure what to expect and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! It was spicy (but not too much) with a little bit of sweet.  I love that these bars satisfy my craving for something crunchy and savory and pack some tasty protein too :) KIND Snacks Review & Giveaway

I was also sent both the Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond and the Caramel Almond & Sea Salt.  They are both new flavors and they are both seriously delicious. Not only are they both naturally low in sugar but they’re also high in fiber!  The Caramel Almond and Sea Salt is a delicious blend of sweet caramel, sea saltiness and almonds with just 5 grams of sugar.  The Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond is made up of dark roast coffee, almonds, honey and dark chocolate that is a serious taste of indulgence but with only 5 grams of sugar.  Look at that delicious combo of coffee, almonds and chocolate….seriously, so good! It was definitely my favorite out of the two but I am a bit coffee and chocolate obsessed so I may be biased 😉KIND Snacks Review & GIVEAWAY!

KIND was also generous enough to send me a pouch of their Raspberry Clusters with Chia Seeds.  It is made up of raspberries, cranberries and chia seeds along with five super grains; gluten free oats, brown rice, millet, buckwheat and quinoa. These clusters are available in eight flavors and are also NON GMO, gluten free, and contain 30 grams of whole grains.  Normally I don’t indulge of anything of the dried fruit variety but each serving only contains 5 grams of sugar which is 35% less sugar than the average sugar content of other KIND Healthy Grains Clusters! PERFECT for topping my smoothies with- which is exactly how I’ve been eating it :)

 This was my breakfast this morning and the crunch from the grain clusters (aka healthier granola) really took my traditional smoothie breakfast to the next level! I have always refused to buy granola because of the sugar content but I don’t feel the least bit guilty about have a little sprinkle here or handful there.  Truly tasty and guilt free!
