Love with Food Gluten Free Box Review + Giveaway
Recently I had the opportunity to try out my first ever food subscription box. I have come across a variety of different food subscription boxes and was always intrigued by them and even curious to try but I never committed to one because most do not offer a specific gluten free option. Certainly not worth the money if not all the items are gluten free.
So when I was given the opportunity to try out and review Love with Food’s Gluten Free Box, curated by K.C., founder of G-Free Foodie, I was excited!
Each box includes:
- 8-12 surprise gluten free snacks each month
- Snacks that are totally gluten free, celiac safe, all organic and no artificial junk
- Free shipping to anywhere in the US + territories
- Cancel anytime
Also, for each box that is purchase, two meals are donated to a US Food Bank. How cool is that?!
I received the Mardi Gras box for this month that was loaded with tasty g-free treats!
Aside from the Mardi Gras beads that were included, I also received a bunch of yummy snacks, treats and even pancake mix!
Pancake & Waffle Mix by Cup 4 Cup: Made with just 9 ingredients, this mix is meant to make you feel like you just ordered some stacks at a southern pancake and waffle house. While I haven’t had the chance to make them yet, I was happy to receive the mix in the box since we make pancakes pretty much every weekend. Definitely something I would buy in the store if I came across it.
Olive Oil Potato Chips by Boulder Canyon: Made without any cholesterol, trans fats or msg, these chips are cooked in 100% olive oil for pure chip perfection. I also didn’t get to try these out and am not much of a kettle chip person but my two year old devoured them and gave a big two thumbs up! At least I can feel good about her eating these since they’re non-GMO!
Baked Mac N’ Cheese Puff by Snikiddy: Aside from being gluten free, these cheese puffs (or cheesy poofs as I call them), are corn and rice puffs doused with cheddar cheese and a splash of buttermilk. Each of my daughters ate a bag but I will admit that I snuck a puff or two and they are pretty tasty!
Mango Staycation Trail Mix by Peeled: Made up of dried mango and bananas along with raisins, dark chocolate chips, almonds, cashews and peanuts, this makes for a tropical snack to munch on especially when you’re stuck in the frozen tundra. I’ll admit, I don’t like dried fruit too much but my kids do….I just picked out the chocolate and nuts before sharing it with them 😉
Sea Salt + Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn by 479 Degrees: These bags of artisan popcorn are made with organic heirloom non-GMO popcorn, are vegan and delicious. I munched on both for a snack (yes, I had to share), and was not disappointed. Would most definitely purchase these if I came across them in the store!
Scharffen Berger Chocolate Pieces: A nice little surprise in the box was these three pieces of gluten free chocolate in three flavors: Milk Chocolate with Sea Salted Almonds, Dark Chocolate with Sea Salted Pistachios and Smooth Milk Chocolate with Toasted Coconut & Macadamia. Since I am a huge dark chocolate fan, I assumed that I would like the one with pistachios the best but surprisingly, my favorite out of all three was the Milk Chocolate with Sea Salted Almonds!
Key Lime White Chocolate Cookies by WOW Baking Company: GMO free and made with all natural ingredients, these cookies a little bit citrus and a little bit sweet. I tasted a few and can attest to the fact that they are both moist and delicious. I am really not much of a cookie fan but I can’t deny that they are yummy!
Dark Chocolate SunCups by SunCups: Made with 60% dark chocolate and 100% roasted sunflower seed butter, this non-GMO treat may have been my favorite by far! Can’t argue such an amazing combo!
I also received a handful of coupons in the box to be used to purchase some of the items that came in the box which I thought was a nice touch!
Overall, I like and enjoyed everything that I received especially the popcorn and chocolate! Since it wouldn’t be fair to tease you with all these g-free treats and not share, G-Free Foodie has offered to giveaway two boxes to my readers!
