As 2015 comes to a close (um, how exactly did that happen and where did the year go?), I figured that it’s about time that I share my most popular running tips and workouts of the year!
My 5th most popular running related post was this Quick DVRT Strength Workout for Runners! It was one of the first running specific strength workouts that I posted this year and apparently it was pretty well received. The workout itself focuses on strength exercises using the Ultimate Sandbag in the sprinter stance position.
This was my 4th popular post and while not exactly running related it is full of tips on how to get your butt out of bed and get motivated for all those early morning workouts despite the fact that the sun hasn’t risen yet.
While marathon training earlier this year, I discovered that it’s a heck of a lot like being pregnant. If you have yet to run a marathon and are curious what it involves then give this a read….you could also give it a read if you’re curious what it’s like to be pregnant. 😛
This workout is my MOST popular of the year and literally takes my Quick DVRT Strength Workout for Runners a step further by progressing to single leg based exercises with the Ultimate Sandbag!
I am not exactly sure how this took off but I do know that I have Pinterest to thank for making it not only my most popular running post of 2015 but my most popular post this year! With more than 700 repins, it is the top driver of traffic to my blog daily which means you can expect to see a lot more posts like this and also running specific workouts in 2016!
What would you like to see more of in 2016?
Ps. Don’t miss out on these giveaways!
Remember to grab the button, link back and linkup if you have a workout to share!
