National Stroller Running Day


unnamed-50I have some amazing and really exciting news to share with you! I was just recently contacted to help spread the word about the first ever National Stroller Running Day! It will be held annually every second Saturday in November and is a day when active parents can celebrate their love and commitment for family fitness.  This day was conceived by Katie McFarland from Moms Little Running Buddies, when she realized that there was no specific day dedicated to stroller runners who make family fitness a priority.  Through her efforts, she has brought together Britax BOB Gear, Lisa Druxman  of Fit4Mom and my friend, Lara from to celebrate and make this day a success.  National Stroller Running Day

Families are encouraged to participate by running with other stroller runners or active parents, joining a family friendly race or just getting out and being active. If you want to find a stroller friendly race to register for, look no further than which is the premier site that focuses on stroller and family friendly races. Whatever you choose to do, make sure you share on social media using the hashtag #StrollerRun14

You can also get involved by participating in the Inaugural National Stroller Running Day Kick Off Twitter Party on November 4th at 9PM EST! Come chat alongside the host, Pregnancy Awareness Month (@PregAwareness) and other sponsors using the hashtag #StrollerRun14 for your chance to win a BOB running stroller plus more amazing fitness prizes!
