Runners Who Wine Podcast: My Running Journey
A little over a year ago Nicole and I were sitting down enjoying a post-race dinner before the Rock’n’Roll Brooklyn Half Marathon when an idea was born.
We were discussing our race strategy, each with a glass of wine in our hand and it occurred to us that we should create a podcast talking about …you guessed it, running and call it Runners Who Wine!
After brainstorming over the phone and even a taking a trip to Austin to see Nicole and further discuss our ideas (over wine, of course), we decided that our bi-weekly podcast would feature authentic, unfiltered product reviews, information on all things running, and real talk regarding everything that fuels our runs, including a bit ol’ glass of wine.
While the idea was born for Runners Who Wine was born over a year ago, life in 2017 got in the way so it took much longer for it to come to fruition than we wanted. Fortunately, we got our ish together just as 2018 approached and we are OFFICIALLY launching it TODAY!
As I mentioned earlier, our episodes are going to focus on product reviews, running advice along with wine suggestions (we ARE winos after all) but to kick it off we decided it would be appropriate to start off by telling you how our running journeys started.
We’ll be back with on January 17th with Episode 2 which dives in to HOW to actually stick to your new year running resolutions!
