RYKA Influence 2 Review + Giveaway!
If you ever get the chance to attend Blogfest/IDEA World, I highly recommend it. Not only do you get the chance to learn all about how to be a better blogger and up and coming fitness trends but you also get the opportunity to be introduced to brands you didn’t know existed.
Such was the case with Ryka. Nicole from Fitful Focus and I were wandering around the expo and noticed some super comfy looking sandals and cute training shoes so obviously we had to stop and check them out.
We ended up learning that Ryka is a women only sports company. They are dedicated to designing athletic footwear that offer fit, comfort and function.
At the expo booth I choose to try on the Influence 2, a training shoe that offers a variety of functions great for studio style fitness classes.
- Breathable mesh upper in a high-impact studio fitness sneaker with a round toe
- No-sew overlays and supportive independent lacing system that allows for custom fit and lateral support
- Flex-Foil and Direct-Fuse layers provide support
- RE-ZORB sockliner provides impact protection and shock absorption
- N-Gage high rebound foam at the heel and forefoot
- Rubber ergonomic outsole
I have worn them while jumping rope, doing plyo lunges, and pivoting all over the place during HIIT workouts.
See that circle on the bottom of the shoe? It’s the pivot point that helps with traction and it really does- you can hear it squeak a little as your feet move in multi-directions across the floor!
Aside from fit and function, these Ryka shoes are also quite fashionable too! Personally, I love the grey and pink (duh) but they also come in black, purple and mint if that is more your style!
If you are a fan of the grey and pink and happen to be a size 7 1/2 then you’re in luck! Ryka sent me an extra pair and since they are a tad too big, I decided to give them away to one lucky winner!
To enter the giveaway just use the rafflecopter below. Contest is open to US and ends on 9/21 at 11:59 PM.
Let’s chat! What do you look for in a training shoe? Do you have different shoes for running, the gym and fitness classes?
