S’good! Muffin: Microwavable Superfood Magic!


Just a quick little note this Saturday to tell you about a product that I was lucky enough to try out this past week…and I love it so much that I just had to share! 

Last week I was contacted by s’good! muffin and asked if I would like to try out their revolutionary microwaveable superfood muffins.  As you all know, I love the chance to try anything new plus the name claims they’re s’good so obviously I had to see for myself!S'Good Muffin

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you may have heard the hype about “mug muffins” or muffins that you can make yourself in the microwave by simply mixing together the correct formula of tasty ingredients.  S’good! muffin is just that except they make it even easier by removing the whole measuring and mixing step out of it PLUS every ingredient it contains was selected for its nutritional benefits. s'good muffin

S’good! muffins are a mix of powdered whole eggs, organic flax seed, organic palm sugar, organic chia seeds, organic coconut oil, cinnamon, organic agave inulin, baking powder and sea salt.  They are also: 

  • Gluten Free 
  • Paleo
  • Dairy Free
  • Made with blend of 8 superfoods
  • Chock-full of protein- 11 grams to be exact!

Oh and if you’re not a fan of the microwave, s’good! muffins also can also be purchased in a canister size that yields 20 muffins when you bake in the oven :) s'good muffinI was sent two of the muffins to try in their prototype to-go cup.  The directions instructed that I just needed to pour the mixture in the cup, add 1/4 cup of water, mix and microwave for two minutes.  I was a bit skeptical mostly because other microwave muffins I have made in the past didn’t come out so well (<—I am also bad at making pancakes….my baking skill are limited to inside an oven it seems).

After anxiously pacing in front of the microwave for 120 seconds, I popped open the microwave to find that it had come out perfectly.  s'good muffin

Not only was it really moist but it was also really tasty- just a little sweet with a hint of cinnamon.  Perfect on it’s own or even topped with some almond butter or a little bit of fruit! 

After devouring the second s’good! muffin the next day for breakfast, I decided I loved it so much that I backed their project on Kickstarters'good muffin As of right now there are 5 days left and they have reached just over 25% of their goal. I really think this magical little microwave muffin could be a hit if it reached enough people, so I am rooting for them! Here’s to hoping mugs all over the world can be filled with s’good! muffin mix!
