#ShareSomethingInspiring Week 3 Recap
I can’t believe that it’s already been 3 weeks since the beginning of the #ShareSomethingInspiring Challenge started. This first week of June few by especially fast, why does that always happen when it’s nice out but when it’s freezing, dreary and snowing time seems to crawl?
Anyway, here is my recap of the 3rd week of the challenge:
June 2: #sharesomethinginspiring- anything that inspires you today!
— Annmarie (@FitFoodieMama) June 2, 2014
I chose to share this quote because it is something I truly believe. Giving excuses and accepting excuses from others don’t make you successful or help you grow. You have to hold yourself accountable in order to achieve your goals. Florence Nightingale was a smart woman 😉
June 3: #sharesomethinginspiring about your work!
Over the course of the last few months I have learned SO much on my blogging journey. I have had to teach myself how to set up my blog, navigate through all of the technical mazes, and research to find the best tools and resources for growth and success. I am proud of the fact that I have taught myself and love the sense of accomplishment I feel every time my hard work pays off.
June 4: #sharesomethinginspiring about dreaming big!
— Annmarie (@FitFoodieMama) June 4, 2014
Isn’t this so true though? If you want something to happen, dream it and do it. Don’t sit around waiting for someone else to make your dreams happen!
June 5: #sharesomethinginspiring about your favorite teacher!
When I was in high school I had a teacher who explained to me what carpe diem really meant. He explained that I am in charge of my day and have control of what I feel and how I live my life. It isn’t just “seizing the day” its about creating each and every day to make it yours. I am also particularly fond of “Dead Poets Society” where the quote I posted comes from. Much like Robin Williams inspired his students in the movie, my teacher inspired me which left a lasting and profound effect on my life.
June 6: #sharesomethinginspiring about a sibling!
This tweet won’t let me post it for some reason so I will just have to show you the picture. My sister crafted a box for myself and each of her bridesmaids with personalized items and a pretty little card that asked us to be in her wedding. I am inspired by her creativity and thoughtfulness. Obviously, I said “yes”, I am honored to be her Matron of Honor!
June 7: #sharesomethinginspiring about your best friend!
I can’t copy this tweet link either but this is what I posted. While my best friend and I have never had a Twitter conversation (though we do follow each other), she is the person that I have and will always consider my best friend. We have been friends since we were in first grade, she is the god-mother to one of my daughters and she knows everything about me. By everything I mean the good, the bad and the ugly…which is why we will always be best friends 😉
June 8: #sharesomethinginspiring that tugs at your heart!
— Annmarie (@FitFoodieMama) June 8, 2014
Whenever I have to correct my daughter for her behavior she responds with “I love you” and it makes it really hard for me to be mad! While I know that she means it, I also know that she is saying it to butter me up so she doesn’t get in trouble. She sure is a crafty little human!
Next week wraps up the challenge and I can’t wait to share another week of inspiring tweets! Hope everyone has a Happy Sunday!
What inspired you this week?
