Simple Fashion Accessories for the Sporty Girl

If you were to have classified my style back in my teens you would have definitely called me girly.  I liked dangly earrings, sparkly necklaces and even a little bit of frilly lace.  I also wasn’t exceptionally athletic back then.  Sure,  I played tennis and dabbled in lacrosse but if you were to have asked me to run more than a mile, I would have scoffed at you.

Now, years later you might say that my style is a little more “sporty”.  I live in athleisure wear and run miles for the mere fun of it.  I’m also a mom.  Which may or may not have inadvertently lead to the transition from hoops to studs and clothes that don’t require much thought.

Whatever the case, now I find ways to make my more simplistic style work.  I need to be able to take my look from fitness attire during the day to something a bit more fancy for when I actually get out of the house.

Just like my clothes, I need my accessories to be multi-functional.  I want pieces that I can pair with my leggings and with my long maxi dress which is why I love Wantable.  Not only do they offer a variety of extremely affordable accessories but they also style it for you AND it comes to your door.  This requires very little effort or time in exchange for looking put together without the fuss which is why I said SIGN ME UP!

Wantable Fashion Accessories for the Sporty Girl

This post is sponsored by Wantable but as always, all opinions are my own.

To be clear, I have been dying to get on the Wantable train for some time now.  I was first introduced to it by my friend and fellow blogger, Nicole at Fitful Focus.  Once a month she posts all about the Fitness Edit she receives from Wantable.

Being a fellow lover of all things fitness wear I obviously wanted in so when I was contacted by Wantable to give their Accessories Collection a try, I, of course, said yes!

How it works is you either choose a Collection or an Edit service and take a quiz which helps to narrow down your likes and dislikes for a stylist who puts together a personalized monthly box just for you. You can keep with you like and return what you don’t, free of charge.

The difference between the Collections and the Edits are that the Collections (Accessories, Intimates and Makeup) are made up of 3-5 items which you get to “keep all” of for a single charge.  The Edits are actually a personal shopping service for apparel which includes a stylist fee to hand pick your 5 items.  You get to keep what you want and return what you don’t and you’re only billed for what you keep.

I was sent the Accessory Edit and I have to say, I was NOT disappointed.

These are the items that I was sent:

Miley Watch [MINT]: I love, love, love the style of this watch but due to my incredibly small baby wrists and the fact that this wrapped, it didn’t quite fit the way I wanted it to.  I am still contemplating a way to add an extra snap to make it work.  I am not joking.

Rayne Ring [GOLD]To say that I love this ring is an understatement.  It is 100% my style and has become a staple in my wardrobe.  I literally wear it with everything.  Such a simple and timeless ring.

Brooklyn Wallet [TAN]I am not sure when it happened (probably when I became a mom) but I am SO over handbags at this point in my life.  For me, wallets that I can grab and go are where it’s at and I love that this adds a little bit of glam to my otherwise dull keeper of cash and credit cards.

Gloria Sunglasses [GOLD]:  To be honest, I initially wasn’t sold on these glasses.  I am super picky and have the smallest head on earth (which clearly is in proportion with my wrists) but after wearing these for a bit and seeing myself in pictures with them on, I actually really like them.  They have a bit more sass than what I am used to when it comes to my typical black or brown sunglasses and I am totally digging it, I actually kinda feel like a little bit of a rock star in them! 😉

Okay, all narcissistic kidding aside, my 5 year old daughter actually took these pictures which is why I am so proudly displaying them.

Anyway and needless to say, Wantable’s Accessory Collection definitely gave my style the little bit of edge it was needing while still being simple enough to transition from day to night…
