Sprinkle a Little Goodness with Kickers! Review & Giveaway {Ended}

Kickers Powdered Food Blends Review & GiveawayWhen I was contacted about trying out Kickers and creating a Fall inspired recipe using one of their four flavors, I couldn’t say no.  Kickers are all natural powdered fruit blends made with delicious combinations of pure fruit, spices, and other 100% natural gluten free, non-GMO and Kosher ingredients.  Never made from any artificial food, colors or sweeteners, Kickers are a great source of antioxidants, flavanoids and flavor all with less than 3 grams of sugar per serving! unnamed-2Speaking of flavor, Kickers offers four different delicious combos: Maple Banana Cream, Apple Cinnamon, Strawberry Banana,  and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. You can literally add some serious taste to anything you can imagine of with these sprinkles of flavor.  Think pancakes, yogurt, oatmeal, smoothies, waffles, toast, ice cream, really the list is endless. They are available in two sizes: double serving stick packs and 25 serving family sized pouches.

I tried each one of them and honestly, they are all fantastic! I had so many recipe ideas floating around in my head that it was hard to choose just one flavor so I created a little bit of something with each! Maple Banana Nut GranolaSuper quick, super healthy and super flavorful thanks to Kickers.  Instead of adding a traditional sweetener like maple syrup, I used 4 servings of the Maple Banana Cream powdered goodness to all some flavor to this granola without all of the sugar! It is perfect for breakfast, by the handful or to top your favorite smoothies with without all the guilt! Kickers Maple Banana Nut Granola #GlutenFree #Healthy

  • 1 medium banana
  • 2 cups gluten free rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 4 servings Maple Banana Cream Kickers

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a large bowl, mash banana then mix in oats, nuts, cinnamon, and vanilla.  Sprinkle in the Maple Banana Cream Kickers and mix. Pour coconut oil in and mix thoroughly.  Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and then evenly spread mixture over top. Bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes making sure it doesn’t burn.  Remove from the oven and let cool.  Store in an air tight container.Apple Cinnamon Popcorn

Apple Cinnamon Kickers + coconut oil + popcorn = heaven.  Seriously, this taste like something you’d buy at a Fall fair and stuff your face with then feel bad about after. While you still might stuff your face with this apple cinnamon goodness, you won’t have any remorse.

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup organic popcorn kernels
  • 2 servings Apple Cinnamon Kickers

Directions: Heat coconut oil in a large pot then add in kernels.  Cover and let pop, tossing to ensure even popping.  Remove from the heat and toss in Apple Cinnamon Kickers powder and enjoy 😀 Kickers Strawberry Banana Yogurt

Okay, so this isn’t exactly a recipe but it is a healthy way to take plain Greek yogurt and add some serious flavor without all the sugar. You could also add the Strawberry Banana Kickers to my Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Cookie recipe and give it an extra sprinkle of goodness.  Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Kickers Ice CreamI know this kind of looks like it was melting (it sort of was because I kept getting distracted by my children) but I promise you if you follow the instructions it will come out very ice-cream like.  I kind of think the drippy overflowing nature of the mixture is quite appetizing though 😉

  • 3 medium bananas, sliced & frozen
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup non-dairy milk (I used Silk Unsweetened Vanilla)
  • 2 servings Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Kickers
  • Crushed peanuts & cacao nibs for topping

Directions: Blend together frozen bananas, cacao powder, milk and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Kickers powder.  Transfer to a bowl and top with peanuts and cacao nibs.  Enjoy! :)

Very interesting. What did you think of the ingredients? Any added sugar? I'd try the apple cinnamon on oatmeal - it's my favorite flavor combo!

The apple cinnamon on oatmeal would taste great! There is cane sugar that is added...here are the ingredients for the apple cinnamon: dried apple powder, cane sugar, cinnamon, Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid). It is 15 calories and 2 grams of sugar per serving! :)

Strawberry banana sounds the best to me. I would like to miss it in my applesauce, yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc. Looks yum
