Vegan Cookies ‘N Creme Smoothie + PlantFusion Giveaway

Happy Meatless Monday! So today I not only have a yummy recipe to share but also an awesome giveaway for one of my favorite vegan protein powders so I will cut the chit chat and just right to the nitty gritty! :)

Back about 4 years ago was when I decided to start incorporating protein powder into my diet.  I was working out but actually pregnant at the time so I did a little research prior to jumping the gun and just grabbing the first tub I saw at the store.

During my research I discovered that vegan protein powder was the best choice for me given the source of the protein. From there I started looking into what would be both the best quality AND the best taste and stumbled upon PlantFusion and it was love at first smoothie sip!

Plant Fusion Review

Disclaimer: I received product in exchange for a review but as always, all opinions are my own.

I love PlantFusion for many reasons- it’s not gritty, it blends well, tastes great and I love to bake with it as well! It’s also gluten free, soy free and hypoallergenic and the only plant protein that compares to whey in amino acid density and balance.

 Plus it comes in a variety of flavors including Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Chocolate Raspberry, Natural AND my personal favorite, Cookies ‘N Creme- which we will get back to in just a second.

PlantFusion also makes Organic Plant Protein which is made with fermented foods for better digestion and absorption as well as Phood which is their nutritional support shake that contains everything you need for a meal on the go.

It comes in two flavors, Vanilla and Chocolate Caramel and while I haven’t tried the Vanilla yet, I have to say that the Chocolate Caramel is AMAZING.  Seriously tastes like dessert and since it’s ready in just a few shakes, it’s the perfect meal on the go! I can’t wait to order more!

Okay, now back to the Cookies ‘N Creme.  I am seriously obsessed with this flavor and believe it or not, it tastes OUT OF THIS WORLD blended with frozen blueberries (which is how I normally enjoy it) BUT since Christmas is just around the corner (10 DAYS PEOPLE) I decided to whip something special up for Santa.

Vegan and Gluten Free Plant Fusion Cookies 'N Creme Smoothie {dairy free, soy free}

While I know the man in red will be getting lots of milk and cookies on Christmas night I figured I’d make a healthier version packed with protein that he could take on the go!

Vegan and Gluten Free Plant Fusion Cookies 'N Creme Smoothie {dairy free, soy free}

It still has all the flavor of the traditional milk and cookies that he likes to enjoy except that it’s deliciously dairy free and topped with some gluten free cookie crumbles- which are completely optional since they do have a dairy filling.

The best part about this smoothie (other than the fact that it tastes like dessert) is that it’s super simple to whip up!
