Ah, I have so much to share again this week but I will try to keep it short and simple aka, not bore you! 😉
I know I don’t really get personal a lot but if you want to know more about why I started blogging about my fitness journey, it is really well written and explained in the spotlight. Certainly better than I could ever convey it and it’s my story!
ShiftFit Strong Update:
Speaking of my fitness journey, I told you last week that I am part of a trial group for the ShiftFit Strong strength training program. Even though it means shifting my focus a bit from running to strength training, it is only for a few months until I begin marathon training. Honestly, I think it will really help me to be a stronger runner so it will all be worth it!
The end of last week involved a core workout, applied fitness workout and lower body workout oh and a MUCH needed rest day!
This week so far I have done an upper body workout (LOTS OF chin-ups/pull ups) and a stair workout.
Starting next week, I am going to do a quick “ShiftFit Strong Progress Check-in” with measurements and such. More of a way for me to keep track of it but you can follow along too just in case it is a program you might be interested in once it’s finalized.
