Wild Workout Wednesday: Sprint to the Top Treadmill Workout + Playlist

Wednesday Logo

Welcome to back to our Wild Workout Wednesday link up! Each week I link up with Angelena Marie from  Angelena Marie: Happy, Healthy & Balanced , Upala at Pretty in Pink Fitness, and Amber at Bold Fit Mom  to bring you workout ideas, motivation, inspiration and recipes to try.  Join us for a wild workout each week by reading along or grab the button and link up if you have a fitness or healthy living post to share!

Since the last few weeks my posts have been rather lengthy, I am going to keep this one short and just share with you a treadmill workout along with a kick butt playlist that I’ve put together with the help of suggestions from you!

First up, the workout! This mountain climbing treadmill workout is KILLER but a great way to beat boredom on the hamster wheel.

I left the speed open to interpretation because it’s relative and we all go at our own pace.  I can’t possibly go faster than 8.5 on the ‘mill without my legs falling off but those with longer limbs may find they’d prefer to pick up the pace.

Sprint to the Top Treadmill Workout

I’m guesstimating (not a word) that this workout would take approximately 40-45 minutes to complete but again, that all depends on your warm up and cool down pace.

Based on that guesstimation (also not a word), I put together this Sprint to the Top Playlist that starts out a bit slow, gradually gets faster, then slows back down again.  Thanks to everyone for your song suggestions, I even found some new-to-me songs that I hadn’t heard before!

To make it even easier to check out the songs or download them, I have installed this iTunes widget!

Oh and speaking of running- I have two bibs that I need to transfer for Zooma Cape Cod in September, if you’re interested please let me know in the comments or shoot me an email and we can make some arrangements :)

Thanks so much for stopping by my Wild Workout- hope it gave you a little hump day motivation to get through the rest of the week! If you have a workout, healthy recipe or awesome fitness find to share, make sure you grab the badge below and link up!
