Win a Crossrope Infinity Rope System!


Not too long ago, Dave expert jump rope ninja, Dave Hunt of Crossrope stopped by to give us a quick 101 lesson on jumping rope.  For whatever reason, jumping rope is a skill that many of us lose as we age, I see this first hand with my own clients at my studio.  Jumping rope has so many benefits but being able to actually do can be a little more challenging than simply picking up a rope.  

In the Jump Rope 101 post, Dave breaks it down for us and offers key tips such as starting with heavy ropes, keeping symmetry in mind and trying to limit upper body movement.  

He followed up the 101 post with another post that introduced 3 jump rope exercises for beginners and then put them into an interval workout.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I totally encourage you to.  I have been including these interval jump rope workouts as finishers to my strength training sessions.  Not only are they quick but they are also super effective and fun! 

Of course, in order to give this workout a try you need a jump rope but not just any jump rope will do.  

From my personal experience, I have found that the kind of jump rope that you use really does make a difference.  I am more “graceful” and my skills are more refined when I use my Crossrope system…the same cannot be said for the multitude of other jump ropes I have tried.
