 Guess what today is? C’mon, GUESS! That’s right it’s my two year BLOGIVERSARY aka anniversary of when I started this whole she-bang.  

I swear I am not trying to be sappy when I say that I can’t believe that two years has gone by since I sat down at my computer and decided that was the day I would start a blog.  I honestly didn’t know what to expect and I never thought that my little piece of the internet would be where it is today.  

My only goal when starting was to connect with other moms and share my health and fitness passion, my daughters were just shy of turning 1 and 3 and I felt disconnected and alone. Now, two years later, just as they have blossomed from needy little humans into intelligent, semi-independent little people, my blog has also grown and developed into something I am proud of.

In the first year of it’s little blog life I transitioned from a site to going self hosted which honestly made a world of difference in taking it from a hobby to more of a “business”.  I also became more dedicated to understanding food photography, learning how to make graphics and networking with other bloggers.   

This last year of blogging was really about finding my niche and turning dreams into a reality.  Blogfest was a huge part of that since it helped me to see the bigger blogging picture and showed me how to reframe my posts so that the content would get read AND shared.  

As a result, I’ve worked with more brands and more than tripled the amount of readers coming the blog on a daily basis.  Say what?!

Since all of these products have to do with either running or food, I decided to refer to this not only as a blogiversary giveaway but also a “run & refuel” giveaway! With that in mind, let’s start with the running swag! 😉
