Guess what today is? C’mon, GUESS! That’s right it’s my two year BLOGIVERSARY aka anniversary of when I started this whole she-bang.

I swear I am not trying to be sappy when I say that I can’t believe that two years has gone by since I sat down at my computer and decided that was the day I would start a blog.  I honestly didn’t know what to expect and I never thought that my little piece of the internet would be where it is today.

My only goal when starting was to connect with other moms and share my health and fitness passion, my daughters were just shy of turning 1 and 3 and I felt disconnected and alone. Now, two years later, just as they have blossomed from needy little humans into intelligent, semi-independent little people, my blog has also grown and developed into something I am proud of.

In the first year of it’s little blog life I transitioned from a .wordpress.com site to going self hosted which honestly made a world of difference in taking it from a hobby to more of a “business”.  I also became more dedicated to understanding food photography, learning how to make graphics and networking with other bloggers.

This last year of blogging was really about finding my niche and turning dreams into a reality.  Blogfest was a huge part of that since it helped me to see the bigger blogging picture and showed me how to reframe my posts so that the content would get read AND shared.

As a result, I’ve worked with more brands and more than tripled the amount of readers coming the blog on a daily basis.  Say what?!

As a way to say THANK YOU to you all for being so supportive and awesome, I’ve reached out to my favorite brands over the past year to collaborate and put together this super fun giveaway!

@FitFoodieMama's 2 Year Blogiversary Giveaway! Win to Run & Refuel with prizes from @fitletic, @brightlifego, @plantfusion, @lovewithfood, @nektarnaturals!

Since all of these products have to do with either running or food, I decided to refer to this not only as a blogiversary giveaway but also a “run & refuel” giveaway! With that in mind, let’s start with the running swag! 😉

3

I first mentioned Fitletic on the blog a few months ago when I shared my “Must Haves for New Runners” post that featured Fitletic’s Fully Loaded Hydration Belt.  Then I recently featured their HydraPalm and Race Bib Belt in my Race Essentials You’ll Fall In Love With post.

Today, it’s all about their Neo Racing Belt which they have so graciously agreed to give away.  Not only is the belt dual adjust but it also is constructed of a stretchy lycra pocket that fits most phones along with an interior pocket to secure ID and cash.  It also features toggles so you can secure your bib- no safety pins necessary.

Regardless if you win or  not, I highly recommend Fitletic products if you’re looking to add some running or racing gear to your collection.  Not only are they great quality but they also fit well and are multifunctional so you don’t have to weigh yourself down in too much gear while you’re on the run.

Next up, compression socks from BrightLife Go! Perfect for when you’re on the run or even for recovery!

2

For those of you that haven’t heard of BrightLife Go, they are a small company based out of Washington, DC that focuses on selling athletic and casual compression wear which includes everything from tights, leggings, sleeves and of course, socks!

They carry a variety of brands including Allegro, CEP, Rejuvahealth, Preggers, Sockwell, Zensah and 2XU to name a few.

Not long ago I featured Sockwell’s merino wool compression socks which are not only therapeutic but stylish as well and since wool blend offers thermoregulation properties they also make the perfect way to keep your tootsies warm during winter runs.

Now, since we are hopefully on our way into the warmer months of spring, 2XU’s compression socks might be more appropriate.  Not only are the constructed with graduated compression, moisture wicking and antibacterial fabric but they also offer 50+ sun protection!

If you don’t win but are on the market for compression gear, definitely check out BrightLife Go as their prices are really reasonable plus shipping is super speedy! :)

Now on to the fuel…

I know I don’t really have to say it but for all of you who might be new here….I LOVE my protein powder.  Like, LOVE it.  One of my favs being PlantFusion and I will literally incorporate it into almost any recipe that makes sense like this Vegan Cookies ‘N Creme Smoothie and these Dairy Free Chocolate Protein Fudgesicles.  Given my love for protein and the various creations I’ve come up using it this past year, PlantFusion has agreed to give away a sample pack so you can have a chance to try and love it too :)

More of a post-run snacker rather than protein drinker? I’ve got you covered.

While I have tried various subscription snack boxes over the last two years, Love With Food is by far my favorite.  Not only are all the snacks gluten free but there is such an amazing variety in each box of mostly new-to-me snack every time I receive one.

The best part of the Love With Food snack subscription is that for every box sold, a meal is donated to a food bank to help fight child hunger.  They recently just celebrated their 1,00,000 meal being donated! How awesome is that?!

For the purposes of this giveaway, they’ve agreed to donate a Deluxe Box as a prize.  Since February’s box is already sold out, it won’t include exactly what you see above but I can guarantee that the snacks will be satisfyingly delicious especially after a long run! 😉

Don’t win? Don’t fret! Save 40% off the Deluxe Box here and 50% off the Gluten Free Box here

Last but certainly not least, one of my favorite ways to add some sweetness without the sticky mess are these Nektar Naturals Honey Crystals

5

I know what you’re thinking.  How do I refuel with honey crystals?! Well, I am glad you asked.  It can be as easy as putting a tablespoon in your tea or you can get a little more creative and find ways to sprinkle a little bit of sweetness on everything.

For instance, I made these Honey & Sea Salt Roasted Almonds and this Honey Salted Popcorn.  Both would make delicious and healthy snack options for when you’re feeling rungry! :) You could totally also use them to give your veggies a little honey love as well like I did for this Honey & Curry Roasted Harvest Veggies recipe!

Even if you don’t win, you can always pick up a bottle of Nektar Naturals Honey Crystals at your local Walmart to give them a try!
